Banquet Server

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join our team and assist in delivering exceptional service during special events, conferences, weddings, and banquets. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of these events by providing top-notch customer service and impeccable attention to detail. Your friendly demeanor, professionalism, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Provide customer service

Requirements

  • Banquet Serving experience of 1 year
  • You have a current Serving it Right certificate
  • You have a positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an upscale restaurant setting
  • Possess good health, safety and personal hygiene habits
  • Must be personable, friendly and professional
  • High energy and strong work ethic
  • Must adhere to all COVID-19 related guidelines
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • You are outgoing, hardworking and reliable
  • High school diploma
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
  • While performing the duties of this position, team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool

Bar Steward Position

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bar Steward to join our team and contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for mixology, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to craft exceptional cocktails. As a Bar Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience by delivering top-notch beverages and maintaining a well-stocked and organized bar area.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange the bar area to make attractive displays
  • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar
  • Clean bar area and wash glassware
  • Advise on wine selection
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections
  • Train staff
  • Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages
  • Operate cash register
  • Record and balance beverage sales
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people

  • You have 2-3 years of bartending experience
  • You have a current Serving it Right certificate
  • You have a positive attitude and strong communication skills

Housekeeper

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our clients. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings
