Housekeeper

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our clients. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances, and dishes
  • Change and launder bed linens and towels
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
  • Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy
  • Assist with other household tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (if required)

Office Administrator

That’s where you come in

As our new Office Administrator you will be in the center of the office. Bringing positivity and precision to all interactions.

A big part of this role involves reception: fielding inquiries by phone, email, and in person.

When you’re not interacting with customers, you’ll be engaged in a range of administrative functions: processing invoices, updating calendars and spreadsheets. When managers are looking for photocopies or communications help, you’ll be flexible, and help out where it’s needed most.

Besides a passion for customer service, we’re looking for someone who excels in:

  • Organization – whether you’re updating calendars in Excel after you get off the phone, or planning events months in advance, you’ve got proven organizational strategies that keep you ahead.
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility – Whether it is a change in schedules, or shift in business needs; you are able to adapt
  • Resourcefulness – you’re a natural problem solver, and know how to work your way through unfamiliar situations.
  • Multitasking – you’re at your best, even when you’re doing six things at once. You don’t get distracted easily, and know how to prioritize your day and push past interruptions.

Working with Fraser River Lodge:

This is a full-time, permanent position, required to work weekends. You’ll start off at $22 an hour.

Responsibilities

Office:

  • Provide general administrative support to the office, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth functioning, clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintain and update various office records, databases, and filing systems. This may involve organizing documents, creating and managing spreadsheets, and ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including drafting and editing documents, memos, and reports. You may also assist in preparing presentations, proofreading materials, and distributing information within the office
  • Follow office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining confidentiality. You may also be responsible for updating and communicating policies as necessary.

Requirements

  • 2 years min in an administrative role (emailing, invoicing, multitasking)  
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (excel, pp, outlook, word)
  • Typing Speed WPM 60+
  • Data entry
  • Customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid license and reliable vehicle (no bus route)
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check

Assistant Wedding Coordinator

At the Fraser River Lodge, we love making those days unforgettable too. We take pride in making every single wedding special. It’s all taken care of here, from the ceremony to the reception, to the accommodations and off-day entertainment. We are also a popular corporate event destination. We offer team-building activities, meeting spaces & amazing gourmet food. So, whether we’re hosting a wedding, retreat, conference or Christmas Party, it takes a talented team to take care of all the details. That’s where you come in. Who you are matters to us as much as your experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist wedding manager
  • Handle email inquiries and contracts
  • Give tours to clients and sell packages
  • Take down and set up events
  • Keep guests to their timeline

Requirements

  • Proven wedding or event planning experience for a minimum of 2 years, would be preferred but not necessary
  • Full Driver’s License
  • Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to discuss their needs and wants and find a package that suits them
  • Wedding/Corporate tours of the facility for potential clients
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and creative
  • Comprehensive Computer Knowledge- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, quick learner with a personalized database
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
