Your Most Asked Wedding Questions, Answered

December 30, 2022

Planning a wedding at Fraser River Lodge comes with a lot of excitement and a few big decisions. To help make things easier, we’ve gathered some of the most common questions we hear from couples. These answers reflect who we are today: an Indigenous owned mountain resort offering warm hospitality, unforgettable food, and some of the most breathtaking views in the Fraser Valley.

What ceremony locations can we choose from?

We offer four ceremony sites, each showcasing the scenery that makes the Lodge so special. Three are outdoors and one is indoors, giving you flexibility in every season.

Our most loved location is our field ceremony site. It is expansive, quiet, and framed by sweeping mountain views of Mount Cheam, the Fraser River, and our roaming bison herd. In the warmer months the meadow blooms with wildflowers, creating a naturally stunning setting that needs very little added décor.

During the cooler seasons, couples can choose our indoor ceremony space in the Wedding Hall. Floor to ceiling windows line the room, offering the same uninterrupted mountain and river views that our outdoor sites are known for. Our team sets up elegant white bistro chairs and will happily support any layout or styling needs you may have. After your ceremony, guests can enjoy cocktails in the lounge while the Wedding Hall is seamlessly transformed for your reception.
