Wilderness Fishing Trip
Sure you've heard of fishing trips. Or maybe you even went on one with your dad or another family member growing up. Or maybe you’re a pro angler and have been reeling in catches your whole life!
But, have you ever had the chance to experience a wilderness style fishing expedition? Ever even heard of a wilderness fishing trip? Or explored in the great Canadian wilderness ?
Keep reading to have these, and any other questions you may have, answered in regards to this unique style of fishing trip.
What is it?
Wilderness fishing is an experience that truly combines fishing with nature in it’s untouched form. You will see National Geographic Country with some of the most beautiful scenery while jet boating through the Fraser Valley. This is our home country and our backyard. Our wilderness.
We offer guided fishing trips for sea run bull trout, steelhead, all five species of salmon, cutthroat trout and more. For these trips, just like our others, catch & release only.
What’s included ?
Our wilderness adventures mean an expedition style trip with a fully covered custom built boat with a high powered jet engine. The day starts with crossing a long lake leading into the wilderness waters where time stands still. This is where you will have the chance to fish while truly being immersed in Canada’s natural beauty.
We also offer the option to extend the day and "stay out" in National Geographic Country.
Camping can range from one night to a week on various rivers, with all camping equipment supplied. All our camps are accommodated by a professional guide and jet boat along with a camp cook who tends the camp and takes care of the guests before and after fishing.
When and Where do these take place?
Wilderness fishing takes place from late March until mid-November on 2 different rivers, the Pitt River and the Lillooet River.
